So the last holiday of this year is fast approaching and then the New Year will start. Time for making new resolutions and planning for those things we want to see change in our lives, be they big or small. I am going to intensify my search for a job, the longer I go without moving into my new career the more that I forget from those classes that I sweat over and through. That is of course a big change, I wonder what else this year will bring.
Among the smaller things that I would like to see happen; to draw more, to get out and take more photo's, to get those things done around the house that were put off too long. To fix that fence that every year droops a little more. To actually get the gutters cleaned out this year! Well, to sum it up a little more succinctly; to not be so lazy.
How about all of you? What kinds of resolutions do you make, do you find yourselves making the same ones year after year? If you do, do you find that they ever get any better?
I would like to read more, make the time to read more. Spend more time in my library. One of the things I have discovered about my memory is that it leaks really bad. I thought for a while about seeing if there was a way to plug it up, but I have also discovered that it makes a lot of things new again. So now, maybe again for the first time, I think I will embrace this and enjoy some of those things that I have possibly forgotten.

I had meant to do another Feature before now,as well as a second Holiday Movie poll; that didn't happen. Busy working and getting ready for the previously mentioned holiday. So now I will get my feature done, probably the last one of the year. I Wanted to wish everyone a Mery Christmas and to once again thank :iconpridescrossing: for this membership, and the opportunity to feature these wonderful artists.

Literature

:thumb188439281: Used to be her HeroHe creeps into her room at night,
and stays there til the morning light,
sitting at the end of her bed,
like he's waiting for the world to end,
and he doesn't want to give up on her so soon,
but he doesn't know what else to do,
so he gives her a kiss and says goodbye,
because he doesn't want to watch her die,
and he's not sure how much more he can take,
as he watches her slowly waste away,
when he can't save her from her demons,
even though he used to be her hero,
and when she's asleep she's an angel,
but he still wishes she was still his little girl,
because he knows when she wakes up,
she's not the same person he used to love,
and he doesn't want to give up on her so soon,
but he doesn't know what else to do,
so he gives her a kiss and says goodbye,
because he doesn't want to watch her die,
and he's not sure how much more he can take,
as he watches her slowly waste away,
when he can't save her from her demons,
even though he used to be her hero,
and she say's she wants to stand on he
In my silenceI don't talk about things
I've spent a life time
Not talking about things
I've forgotten how to speak
I don't believe people listen
That some ears hear
I got used to my silence
I'm not sure how to explain
That's why I don't answer questions
I'm not sure if you even care
I can't believe you want to listen
Why I pretend I'm ok.
After all it's my pain
I suffer in silence.
