Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Since last week, well not really much has changed. Work is still messed up. This week they have put me back on back half nights, so next week I expect that I will be on the front half. But I don't know.

During this past week I managed to get some things done around the house, not as much as was planned, but then again that hardly ever happens. The point has been reached where it looks like progress has been made. I had one thing that I really wanted to get done, in our library I have planned on adding little short shelve to the outside of one of the existing book shelves to display my collection of old cameras on. I was thinking that I would make them semi-circle but could not find my jigsaw. I hunted everywhere and had finally decided that I must had left it on the front porch and someone had gone by and snagged it. So I moved on to other things. A friend had given me a hand truck but it needed air in the tires, so when I went down to the used tire store to get my flat fixed I got air in the tires. When I got home I went to put it in my garage and found my jigsaw just sitting there. Of coarse I didn't get those shelves put up. But now maybe next week. It would be nice to have the house all done before spring so that the yard can be tackled then.

I am still looking for help in trying to get my webcam widget working.

Other than that, I am so much closer to reaching the 26k mark than I ever thought possible. I know that for many this is not a big deal, but I never would have believed that I would reach this many. I noticed that I got over 100 views the other day. I was shocked.

I hope that all my friends and watchers have a great week, and also to anyone just wandering by and stopping for a moment. I plan on having a great week, after all the Girl Scout Cookies that I ordered will be here this week.

The shelf has turned out to be an ordeal.

I didn't have the screws that I thought I had, everything was to long. I did have some others that I figured I could use in a pinch, I got the brackets put on and was ready to get them mounted but my cordless drill kept slipping out of the slot on the screw, but since it had a hex head I went to go get my socket. Of coarse the size I needed wasn't there. I found another set but the attachment wouldnt fit my drill, so I used my ratchet, but while I was doing that the rest of the socket set slipped off the place I had put it, and spilled my sockets all over the floor. I still haven't found one of them! Needless to say I have left it for another day. I am not even sure when I go back to work, or if I do. Oh, and I didn't get my cookies either!
