Did you get photo's of your skunks? I think they are beautiful creatures, too bad they spray! Thanks for the comment!

their coloring is beautiful, but man o man, they are nasty smelling little critters....

I was trying to humanely capture a raccoon to move it deeper in the woods, and
by mistake, trapped a skunk instead in the cage...a huge big female who looked
like she was carrying 5 or 6 babies....couldn't get anyone to come and help,
where is a friend when you have a skunk in a cage...haha

Oh wow, that is quite the dilemma. A few years ago my father had a trailer house  and the hole under it where the pump sat a skunk fell in. He kept hearing something and finally found it. Without knowing how to get it out he just lowered a branch down into the hole along with some water and it managed to crawl out. All without ever spraying.
How did you get your situation resolved?

A 90 year old neighbor from the woods was contacted by me, and he told me to hold a blanket or
sheet in front of my face as I approached the skunk...If the skunk cannot see your face
he will not freak out and spray, and I walked right up to him with the sheet in front of me, opened the
cage and out he ran after a minute or two....Never ever ever would have believed it could be true, but
it worked for me....Thank god....haha
