This deviation...it hit me when I was going through the list of pictures in the critiques. I honestly was almost blown out of my chair by it.

The best part, i believe, of this photograph is indeed the emphasis on the heart. It is immediately apparent what you were trying to get by on this, and of course that is exactly what every photographer whats in their photographs.

The only thing I could say that I might have changed is the background, and perhaps the side of the cup with the markings there. If only you could have darkened it so it didn't distract from the main purpose, though that is only a suggestion and a personal opinion. The lights in the background gave it a romantic touch which helps to highlight the main focus even more.

Overall, beautiful and touching at the same time, thank you for sharing it with the people of Deviantart
